"A little something, just because you deserve it."
Consider this your permission to indulge.
Perhaps it's been one of those weeks. The kind where Monday feels like it happened a month ago. The meetings that ran longer than they should have. The decisions nobody could make for you. The little things you handled without making a fuss.
Why I chose cinnamon for this moment
Cinnamon is one of those ingredients that has been considered precious across cultures and centuries. In Ayurveda, it has long been associated with warmth, nourishment, and circulation — the idea that sometimes the body needs to be gently reminded that it is worth attending to.
That warmth is real. Cinnamon has a quality that feels genuinely heating on the skin — not sharp or stimulating like mint, but deep and enveloping. When it meets warm water, something interesting happens. The experience feels less like a bath and more like being held.
I didn’t choose cinnamon because it solves anything. I chose it because it feels like abundance. And sometimes that’s exactly what a tired week calls for.
“You don’t always need a reason to take care of yourself. Sometimes the week is reason enough.”
The ritual for the week that took something from you
I created Sreshta’s Cinnamon Epsom Bath Ritual for the moments when you want to do something generous for yourself. Not as a reward you had to earn. Just because you can.
This isn’t about recovery from a run or preparation for sleep. This one is simply for the pleasure of it.
The warmth of the water. The rich, spiced aroma. The twenty minutes that belong entirely to you.
I’ve kept it in a single-use sachet because I wanted this to feel like a small gift every time — something you unwrap, pour in, and let the rest happen on its own.
How I would enjoy this ritual
- Choose your evening carefully. This one is best on a day when you have nowhere to be afterwards. A Friday. A quiet Sunday. A day when the rest of the evening can be as slow as you like.
- Prepare your space a little. You don’t need candles or ceremony. But perhaps a towel warming nearby, the lights turned down, your phone set aside. Small things that tell the evening it can begin.
- Pour and breathe. Open your sachet, dissolve it in comfortably warm water, and take a moment before you step in. The aroma of cinnamon is something to arrive in slowly.
- Take the full twenty minutes. This one isn’t for rushing. Let your shoulders drop. Let the warmth find the places where the week has settled. You’ve done enough. This part requires nothing from you.
A small thought before you go
We talk a lot about earning rest. About deserving good things only after we’ve worked hard enough, achieved enough, checked enough boxes.
But I’ve always thought there’s something quietly important about choosing to receive something good simply because you’re a person who deserves it. Not because of what you did this week. Just because.
That’s the thought I had when I made Cinnamon.
“Because some rituals don’t need a reason. They are the reason.”
I hope this one finds you on a good evening.
With warmth,

Every blend has a story. This was Cinnamon’s.
Mint is for the body that just moved. Lavender is for the mind that won’t slow down. And if you’re curious what the others feel like, Ginger, Pure, and the rest are waiting — each one made for a different kind of moment.
