This one is made for the mind that won't switch off..!

Ah...so, lavender found you :) ...!

Of all the little rituals waiting to be discovered, this one found its way into your hands. And I'm rather glad it did. Let me tell you why I made this one.

I know this kind of tired. It's not the tiredness that puts you to sleep; it's the tiredness that makes sleep harder to reach. Your body is exhausted. But your mind is still somewhere in the afternoon.

Replaying a conversation. Revisiting something you should have said. Planning a tomorrow that hasn't even arrived.

"The body wants rest. The mind has other plans."

You lie down. You close your eyes. And somehow, the day continues. The body wants rest. The mind has other plans. I've come to believe that some evenings don't need another solution. They need a transition.

Why I chose lavender for this moment. Lavender has been part of traditional relaxation rituals for centuries.

Its familiar, gentle aroma has also attracted scientific interest. Studies exploring lavender aromatherapy suggest potential benefits for relaxation and perceived sleep quality, although the evidence isn't conclusive.

But what interests me most isn't just the ingredient. It's the experience we create around it. The warmth of water. The fragrance slowly filling the space. The absence of urgency. The simple act of doing something for yourself without expecting anything in return.

In Ayurveda, daily rituals have always held a meaningful place in caring for ourselves. I find that philosophy particularly relevant to the way we live today.

Because sometimes, what we need isn't another instruction to relax.

How to use it: the ritual matters as much as the salt

A thoughtfully prepared Epsom salt bathing blend for evenings when you want to slow down.

There is no perfect way to rest. But if you're trying this for the first time, here's the ritual I would suggest. Created in a convenient, single-use sachet, so that your moment of rest doesn't begin with another task.

  • Begin with warmth: Prepare a comfortably warm bath or foot soak, following the water quantity and sachet instructions on your pack.
  • Open your sachet: Pour the blend into the water and allow the salts to dissolve. Notice the lavender aroma. There's no need to rush.
  • Give yourself twenty minutes: Put your phone away. Let your shoulders relax. Your mind might still wander towards tomorrow's responsibilities. That's all right. You don't have to force your thoughts to disappear.
  • Leave the urgency behind: When you're done, dry yourself gently. Keep the lights soft. Give yourself a little time away from screens and demanding conversations.

Let the evening end gradually.

A comfortably warm bath taken before bedtime may support the body's natural cooling process, which is associated with sleep onset. But more than anything, I want this ritual to become a moment you genuinely enjoy.

A small thought before you go:

We spend so much of our lives learning how to do more. How to become more productive. More available. More responsive.

But very few of us are taught how to gently step away from all of it. Perhaps rest deserves a little preparation too. Just a small, familiar moment that reminds you the day is allowed to end.

"That's the thought behind this blend."

And if your mind has been particularly busy lately, perhaps tonight is a good evening to begin.

With Warmth,

"Lavender" is just one of the ways I’ve explored the idea of slowing down. Each of our blends has a different story, a different intention, and perhaps, a different moment in your life where it belongs. We have Mint, Cinnamon, Ginger as well

If you're curious, there are a few more stories waiting for you in my journal.
